Suffolk County has received 1,800 more monkeypox vaccine doses and will be administering most of them in Hampton Bays over the next two weeks.

New Fitness Center Hours in Bridgehampton

The Bridgehampton School has announced new summer hours for community members and school staff at the school's fitness center. 

It will be open from 6 to 10 a.m., Monday through Friday, through Aug. 29.

Users of the facility must be Bridgehampton residents and at least 12 years old; an adult caregiver must accompany youth who are between the ages of 12 and 18.

Soldier Ride Rolls on Saturday

Soldier Ride the Hamptons returns to Amagansett Saturday morning, when about 40 men and women who suffered traumatic injuries in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars will ride their cycles from the Amagansett Firehouse to Sag Harbor and back. The 16th annual ride kicks off at 8:45 a.m. and, said Peter Honerkamp, an organizer, this year's event harks back to Soldier Rides of yore when members of the community were encouraged to ride along with the wounded warriors.

Hampton Classic Releases 2022 Poster Art

The Hampton Classic Horse Show, now in its 46th year, unveiled its official poster art on Tuesday. "Dream Gait," an oil painting by Cara Van Leuven of Highland, Ill., features a horse with extremely long legs that "reflect both their beauty and fragility," the Hampton Classic said in a release.
