Excitement of Art

    Springs

    May 4, 2014

Dear Editor,

We are proud to be members of the staff of the little school that could, Springs School. We recently were involved in the biggest fund-raiser the school or probably any school in this neighborhood has ever witnessed, the Mystery Art Show.

To the Editor,

Friday, Jan. 2, 5 a.m. I am in the basement of the house. I should be packing to go to Connecticut, but instead I am carefully hanging my hunting clothes on the clotheslines, as I have done so may times before.

    December 22, 2014

To the Editor:

There is a sweet irony now when I see cars passing through Shelter Island with their “Montauk — The End” bumper stickers. Actually you folks are now at the beginning — the beginning of a wonderful new era for your library.
