Suspects Sought in Montauk Burglary

The Suffolk County Police Department released these surveillance images of two men suspected of burglarizing Kenny’s Castaway in Montauk in November.

Suffolk County and East Hampton Town law enforcement agencies are seeking help from the public in identifying two men suspected of burglarizing Kenny’s Castaways, a Montauk bar and restaurant, on Nov. 9.

The pair damaged doors to gain entry at around 1:30 late that night, county police said in a release, before burglarizing and damaging the interior.

Police released surveillance photos showing one man with facial hair, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and another wearing a crew-neck sweatshirt, standing on a brick walkway outside the restaurant.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest. Tips can be filed anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS, online at P3Tips.com, or via a mobile app called P3Tips. All information is kept confidential.
