Amid scores of films, here are some highlights and potential sellouts at this year's Hamptons International Film Festival -- before tickets go on sale Sept. 24.

In the midst of announcements for its main event in October, on Sept. 22 the Hamptons International Film Festival will screen a documentary on Jane Fonda by Susan Lacy, a Noyac resident.

The screening of "Jane Fonda in Five Acts," at Guild Hall at 6 p.m., will be followed by a discussion with Ms. Lacy and Alec Baldwin.

Two East Hampton part-timers have devised and marketed a new protein bar masquerading as a frozen treat with a real chocolate coating.

Over a century of ensembles and costumes worn to parties, picnics, parades, and more are featured in a new show at the East Hampton Historical Society through Oct. 7.
