Two South Fork museums will provide plenty to celebrate, including late summer, at their cocktail parties on Saturday.

The Hamptons International Film Festival will show "Youth," starring Michael Caine and Harvey Keitel, in Southampton on its opening night.

When the Hamptons International Film Festival opens on Oct. 8, the film it will screen will be James Vanderbilt’s “Truth” with Robert Redford, Cate Blanchett, Topher Grace, and Elisabeth Moss. Mr. Vanderbilt served as a mentor for the festival’s Screenwriters Lab in 2009.

Mr. Redford plays Dan Rather, a former news anchor at CBS who broadcast a report in his final days about how then-President George W. Bush used family connections to avoid combat in the Vietnam War. The film, distributed by Sony Pictures Classics, will open in theaters on Oct.
