Decades after their publication, Steven Gaines's "Simply Halston" and "Philistines at the Hedgerow" are receiving big-time small screen treatment.

On Monday, G.E. Smith, who lives in Amagansett, will host Masters of the Telecaster with Jim Weider, who played with the Band for 15 years.

The Bay Street Theater will put the audience inside the four walls of its outdoor courtyard, where it will be surrounded by video projections and share the space with performers.
