Ryan J. Albie was asleep on his boat, the Hatteras, docked at Offshore Marina on West Lake Drive in Montauk on Aug. 13 when, at about 3:55 a.m., he was awakened by the sound of the boat hitting something. He found four young men, who ran when confronted, on the 45-foot craft.
