A dispute between neighbors last Thursday led to fisticuffs, in which one neighbor bit, choked, and punched the other, East Hampton Town Police Detective Sgt. Dan Toia said yesterday.
A Montauk man parked his 1994 BMW in the long-term lot on Lumber Lane before going to work and took a taxi home at the end of his shift Friday morning. When he returned later that afternoon, he told police, he could not find the car. Police found it in the Reutershan lot.
Rian J. O’Dwyer, 22, of East Hampton was behind the wheel of a 2013 Toyota Tundra traveling on Route 114 near Whooping Hollow Road on Sept. 9 at about 3:40 a.m. when East Hampton Town police said they noticed the left taillight was out. Police said the driver was speeding, had an obstructed view, and that he failed to signal a right turn.
