East Hampton’s Ladies Village Improvement Society shops reopened on Saturday morning with new spring merchandise as well as new safety measures in light of the continuing Covid-19 pandemic. 

Village police said the arrest followed a months-long investigation. The defendant turned himself in on Wednesday.

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons kicked off a two-week-long online auction on Thursday in partnership with Christie’s and hosted by Charitybuzz to benefit the pet adoption center in East Hampton.

The East Hampton Democratic Committee did not endorse two incumbent Democrats, Councilman Jeff Bragman of the town board and Rick Drew of the town trustees, at its Feb. 17 nominating convention, instead backing Cate Rogers for town board and David Cataletto for trustee.
