Gourmet at Home

Nikki King Bennett, a New York City executive chef who prepares plant-based meals for casual and fine dining, is offering her services on the East End this summer. A casual meal is $35 per person with a $175 minimum, and a fine dining one is $100 per person with a $500 minimum. The cost of ingredients is extra. "I'm very flexible in accommodating requests with regards to style of cooking, type of meal, and whether the food is prepared in the client's home or at an offsite commercial kitchen space, then delivered," she said. An example of a casual entree is cauliflower tacos with smashed black beans, avocado salsa, and charred corn tortillas, and a fine dining one is sweet corn polenta with roasted maitake mushrooms, kale pesto, and caramelized shallot ricotta. She can be hired by calling or texting 646-289-2381, or by visiting mostlyvegan.com.
