Suffolk Executive Ed Romaine issued a travel ban for Suffolk roadways beginning at 9 p.m. Sunday through 9 a.m. Monday. The ban does not apply to essential workers and plow operators.

In anticipation of heavy snow accumulation beginning late Sunday, East Hampton Town offices will not open on Monday. Town Hall warned that vehicles that could interfere with snow removal or emergency services could be towed by police.

Suffolk County Transit bus service will stop systemwide at 4 p.m. Sunday and will remain suspended on Monday.

Service is scheduled to resume on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m., weather and road conditions permitting.
