On Sunday at 2:30 p.m., the library will host a story time with cookies for all ages. Spooky slime will be the project of the day for kids in sixth grade and up on Tuesday from 3:30 to 5 p.m., and pumpkin decorating is in store during a family activity on Friday, Oct. 18, at 4 p.m.
Victoria Haller, the daughter of Dr. Eugene Z. Haller of Budapest and Margaret Wickers of Springs, was married to Phillip Marino on Sept. 13 on the concert meadow at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vt.
Police received word of a possibly intoxicated man standing on the sidewalk near Ocean Avenue and James Lane on the afternoon of Sept. 30. An officer spoke to a 52-year-old man who said he has arthritis, making it difficult to walk. There were no problems.

Ernest Clark Jr., a former owner of the E.T. Dayton Insurance and Real Estate Agency in East Hampton, died of congestive heart failure at the Moorings Park health care facility in Naples, Fla., on Sept. 25. He was 94.
A funeral service for Joanne Conforti of East Hampton will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel at 1076 Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Her ashes will be buried at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in East Hampton.
