The Sag Harbor Cinema’s “Projections” series, the mission of which is to support the work of nonprofit organizations here, returns on Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m. to highlight the recent efforts of Hamptons Community Outreach.

A panel discussion titled “Supporting the Shinnecock,” moderated by Shawn Sachs, a cinema board member, will feature the empowerment work of the outreach group, and a short film about its home repair program on Shinnecock tribal land will be screened.

Speakers on the panel include Marit Molin, founder and executive director of the nonprofit, Denise Silva-Dennis, one of its board members, and Becky Genia, a Shinnecock tribal member.

“No child should have their potential limited by substandard housing,” Ms. Molin said in a release from the cinema. “By renovating homes and providing prefabricated houses, we are not only improving living conditions for families, we are changing life trajectories and fostering opportunity for generations to come.”

Admission is free but reservations on the cinema’s website are required as space is limited.
