Robert Levin called police on the morning of Aug. 6 after he discovered deep scratches in the paint on his 2017 BMW 540 sedan. He said he had not noticed any scratches the previous day. He estimated the damage would cost $1,000 to repair. 

Approximately 20 ferns planted in a flower bed on a Landfall Road house lot were taken sometime between Aug. 1 and 6, according to the homeowner, Mark Franklin.
