Memorializing the former Swamp disco and Annex restaurant site on a 1.1-acre highway parcel in Wainscott is a misguided idea.

Toby Foster, Bonac’s senior point guard, scored his 1,000th career point, a rare milestone, on a 3-point shot early in the Jan. 23 home game against West Islip.

At the final home meet of the season, the Bonac boys swim team, the League II champs, honored its seniors: Ralph Carballal, Pema Edwards, Dylan Knapik, Liam Knight, Zeb Ryan, and William Salinetti.

Bonac boys and girls took to the track at Suffolk Community College in Brentwood on Saturday, preparing for the Small School Championship meet this coming weekend.
