The Coast Guard on Friday came to the aid of a man who was experiencing chest pains and numbness and tingling in his left arm while aboard a cable-laying vessel off the coast of Montauk. Shortly before 9 a.m., according to a Coast Guard statement, watchstanders with the Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound command center received notification from the vessel, called the Decisive, that a man was in need of medical assistance.

Two Montauk brothers were arrested on drug charges late last month after police reported finding them with a large number of restricted medications. According to East Hampton Town police, Rogelio Crespo-Agron, who is 30, had 17 oxycodone hydrochloride pills and 43 alprazolam pills in a Panadol bottle that was found in his sweatshirt pocket. Elliott Enrique Crespo-Agron, 27, allegedly had 39 oxycodone pills in a Zantac bottle and broken alprazolam pills in an Advil container.
