Rowdy Hall is celebrating Oktoberfest with special German dishes and Bavarian pretzels and mustard through Oct. 3.

Centennial Plus Oktoberfest
To celebrate the anniversary of East Hampton Village's incorporation in 1920, Rowdy Hall in East Hampton will have a fish and chips special for $19.20 tomorrow through Sunday, and guests who purchase a beer in a $7 cup issued in honor of the restaurant's 25th anniversary, can get a refill for $6. 

The restaurant is also celebrating Oktoberfest with special German dishes through Oct. 3. This week's menu, available through tomorrow, includes a Bavarian sausage salad with kielbasa, sliced dill pickles, red onion, and Bibb lettuce for $16, wienerschnitzel with vinegar and shoestring fries for $24, and pound cake with quark cream, and a lemon cardamom glaze for $12. From Saturday through Oct. 3, the dishes include potato leek soup with pretzel croutons for $12; knockwurst, bratwurst, and bockwurst with German potato salad, sauerkraut, and mustard for $27, and Black Forest torte with cherry compote, whipped cream, and chocolate curls for $12. Bavarian pretzels with mustard for $11 and beer cheese with rye toast and radishes for $12 will also be available a la carte. 

Ina Speaks
Ina Garten will headline a virtual book and author lunch for the Shelter Island Library on Wednesday at 1 p.m. The East Hampton-based cookbook author and Emmy-winning television host will be debriefed by Willie Geist, a host of NBC's "Sunday Today" show and a co-host of MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

She will discuss her past and present projects, which include additional cookbooks, a book on design, and a memoir, as well as her Instagram-breaking cocktails. Access to the talk is through a minimum requested donation of $40 through Eventbrite.

Bell and Anchor
The Bell and Anchor in Noyac has two-course dinner specials Tuesday through Thursday starting at 5:30. On Tuesdays, the entree is moules frites for $34. On Wednesdays, there is a choice of lobster garganelli pasta with corn, basil, and saffron cream for $42, a steamed one-and-a-half-pound lobster with haricots verts and fingerling potatoes for $54, or butter poached lobster tail with a seven-ounce grilled filet mignon, haricots verts, and fingerling potatoes for $72. On Thursdays, bouillabaisse is $44. The appetizers include chowder, a Caesar salad, arugula salad with crispy goat cheese, tuna poke for an additional $6, or burrata with grilled tomatoes and bread for an additional $5. Dessert is an additional $6.

Clam Pie Call
The East Hampton Town Trustees are seeking people with family recipes for clam pie to bake one for the trustee's annual Largest Clam Contest on Oct. 3. The pie will be showcased as a regional culinary specialty and offered to attendees. Those interested in participating should call the trustees' office for more information. 
 

A Chowder Extravaganza for Springs Food Pantry

The Springs Food Pantry’s annual Chowdah Chowdown fund-raiser will return to the Springs Tavern and Grill on Saturday afternoon with all-you-can-eat chowder and soup from local chefs, live music by Josh Brussell, a mocktail bar, and a 50-50 raffle with a cash prize.
