Alec Baldwin, the Emmy Award-winning actor, and Bill McCuddy, a comedian and NPR/PBS podcast host, will be having dinner at Almond restaurant in Bridgehampton on March 13, and a lucky group of people will be able to join them while at the same time supporting a worthy cause.

The Hampton Library in Bridgehampton has organized “Dinner and Conversation With Alec Baldwin and Bill McCuddy” as a benefit for its capital campaign for interior renovations, titled “Preserving the Past, Embracing the Future.”

Doors will open at 6 for cocktails and wine, after which Jason Weiner, Almond’s executive chef and co-owner, will present a sit-down three-course dinner with wine pairings. The evening will include a conversation between Mr. Baldwin and Mr. McCuddy.

Of the capital campaign, whose committee chairman is Eric Lemonides, Almond’s other co-owner, Lisa Michne, the library’s executive director, said, “We have an exciting opportunity to update our much-loved library to better serve everyone in our community. With a mission to provide equitable service for all, we are challenged to refurbish parts of the facility to meet the needs of all members as a significant informational, educational, and cultural resource. Join us!”

Tickets, which are $400, must be bought in advance at eventbrite.com, the library’s website, or by calling 631-537-0015.
