Woman Injured in Springs Hit-and-Run

Thu, 11/10/2022 - 09:28

Yomira Neira-Andrade of East Hampton was crossing Old Fireplace Road near Fireplace Road in Springs last Thursday afternoon when a vehicle of unknown make and model struck her from behind. The driver left the scene, and has not yet been identified. Ms. Neira-Andrade, 27, was transported to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital for unspecified injuries.

A glaring sun was the culprit in Montauk on Nov. 2 when Mitchell Marsicano of East Moriches drove his 2007 Lexus into the back of a 2008 Ford pickup driven by Romulo Guichey of East Hampton. Mr. Marsicano was westbound on Route 27 just before 7 p.m. when the accident occurred. He was checked out by medical personnel for a laceration to the mouth, but refused further medical assistance.

On June 23, a Subaru S.U.V. rear-ended a Toyota S.U.V. at Carl Fisher Plaza in Montauk. That evening, two other S.U.V.s collided in Wainscott and had to be towed away. And more news of the roads.
