Thu, 09/16/2021 - 06:45

A homeless woman who made her way past a fence on Further Lane in East Hampton was arrested on Sept. 7, charged with third-degree criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor.

According to a police report, Salena Migeot, 56, who most recently lived in Riverhead, did not have permission to be seated as she was on the property, east of Cross Highway, and which has a 17,000-square-foot, 10-bedroom house. She is to answer the charge next Thursday before Justice Lisa R. Rana in East Hampton Justice Court.

Town police flagged down Henry Kozen of East Hampton, 53, on North Main Street on the afternoon of Sept. 6 for a traffic infraction, and charged him with driving a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck with a suspended or revoked registration, a misdemeanor. He will answer the charge before Justice Rana on Wednesday.
