John J. Karpinski of Amagansett and Long Beach, Miss., died at home in Mississippi on April 23. He was 74. Visiting hours will be Wednesday at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in East Hampton from 9 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church in Montauk at 11 and burial at Calverton National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. An obituary will appear in a future issue.
