Caitlin Virginia Fasano and Dallas Aden Bennett remembered their July 23 wedding as “the event of the century, full of love and joy and cookies and drinks.” The ceremony was held at Overhills Mansion in Catonsville, Md., with Dallas’s father, Russell C. Bennett, officiating.
Their mothers, Fiona Bennett of Amagansett and Sheila Jordan of Germantown, Md., walked each of them down the aisle. Dallas’s maid of honor was Sarah Beyer. The bride’s best man was Michael Geraldo. Adam Gawlinski was the ringbearer and Quinn Shay was the flower person.
The bride wore a white dress with pockets, a flower crown, and floral embroidered sneakers, while her attendants wore pink and yellow.
The bride’s father is the late Michael Fasano. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from Northern Arizona University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Arizona State University, and now works as an individualized education program coordinator for Children’s Guild Transformation Academy.
Dallas is a reading interventionist and poet with a bachelor’s in poetry and nonfiction from Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania and an M.F.A. in poetry from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash.
They met “the modern way,” on the dating app Hinge.
The couple, who hyphenate their last names to Fasano-Bennett, live in Germantown, Md.
