The Daughters of the American Revolution bring the hammer down on the Oath of Allegiance to the Crown.

The Bonac Boys 4-by-800-meter relay team tried one more time to break East Hampton’s 23-year-old school record last weekend at the Long Island Elite Meet. Their time of 8:42.53, while not record-breaking, still earned them a third-place finish at St. Anthony’s High School.

Alyssa Bahel, a 2015 East Hampton High School graduate and track star, ran the 2026 Tokyo Marathon on Sunday, finishing in 3:09:34, the 275th woman to finish in a field of nearly 39,000 runners.
