East Hampton Village Beach Permits on Sale Feb. 1
The village will sell only 3,100 nonresident beach permits, which provide for parking access at Main, Georgica, Egypt, Two Mile Hollow, and Wiborg Beaches.

Boater Safety Rules Change
New York State is gradually phasing in a boating safety rule that will require all powerboat operators to have a certificate by Jan. 1, 2025.
