The discovery of a framed photo of Sigmund Freud in her closet launched Andrea Mitchell, a film producer, on a new project — a book and documentary about the secret histories of people's houses.

Ken Burns's new 12-hour, six-part documentary, "The American Revolution," co-directed by David Schmidt and Sarah Botstein, will be shown at the Sag Harbor Cinema on successive Sundays.

Lindsay Morris, an acclaimed photographer, and Susan Lacy, the creator of the “American Masters” series on PBS, will be at The Church in Sag Harbor.
