The East Hampton Village Foundation will recognize the village’s first responders at a fund-raiser on Aug. 13 at Swifty’s, the restaurant at the Hedges Inn.

From 7 to 10, the evening will include food, cocktails, music, and a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit the foundation and “directly support the vital work of the Police, Fire, and E.M.S. Council,” according to the invitation.

Tickets cost $500. Those who opt for $1,000 V.I.P. tickets will be invited to a meet-and-greet with the mayor and chiefs of the fire, police, and emergency medical services. Tickets can be bought at ehvf.org/magicalnight.

The nonprofit foundation funds public works and programs in the village.
