What's better than a juicy yard sale on a summer weekend? A big, communitywide one, where people from all walks of life here can come together to sell unwanted items and hunt for treasures. Such a sale will take place on Aug. 10, a Saturday, at the East Hampton Historical Farm Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The cost to set up a table as a seller is $25, payable either by check to the museum at P.O. Box 3037 in East Hampton 11937 or by Venmo to @Patricia-Sales-6, with "yard sale" as a note. Participants must provide their own tables. The rain date is Aug. 17.

As a fund-raiser for the museum, there will also be a bake sale and raffle prizes on offer.
