Holiday Cheer Is Coming to Sag Harbor

Socially distant Santa visits will take place over the next few Fridays in Sag Harbor.

The Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce will hold a weekly holiday event with Main Street stores offering discounts and free gifts with purchases, restaurant specials, and more, starting this week through Dec. 18.

On Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. shopkeepers will show off their holiday window displays, and on Friday, Dec. 4, the annual Christmas tree lighting will be held on Long Wharf. WLNG radio will fill the streets with holiday music. Santa Claus will visit on Dec. 11. A list of participating stores and restaurants, and the discounts offered, are on Chamber of Commerce's website, sagharborchamber.com.

Bay Street Theater will show a live-streamed stage production of "A Christmas Carol" starring Jefferson Mays, a Tony-winning actor, in more than 50 roles on Saturday at 9 p.m. The cost is $50. Tickets can be purchased on the theater's website, baystreet.org.
