Celebrated Chef at Guild Hall

Guild Hall’s Stirring the Pot series will feature a visit from Kwame Onwuachi, the chef and partner behind Tatiana in New York City, on Sunday morning at 11. Tatiana was named best restaurant in New York City for several years by Pete Wells of The New York Times, and has also been cited as one of the 50 best restaurants in North America.

Onwuachi, who is also the chef at Dogon in Washington, D.C., and Patty Palace in Austin, Tex., will discuss his career with Florence Fabricant, a food critic and food writer for The New York Times. His cooking draws on Afro-Caribbean, West African, and American culinary traditions.

Tickets are $51. A pre-show continental breakfast from Citarella will be available at 10.

Long Island Wines

Speaking of Fabricant, she will be at the Hampton Library in Bridgehampton on Tuesday at 5:30 to lead “The Case for Long Island Wine,” a panel discussion with the winemakers Roman Roth (Wolffer Estate Vineyard) and Kareem Massoud (Paumanok Vineyards), and Vanessa Price, the sommelier at Mavericks Montauk.

The program is free, but tickets are limited and must be reserved in advance via a link on the library’s program calendar.
