The culinary conversation series “Stirring the Pot” is returning for the 14th time to Guild Hall. Hosted by Florence Fabricant, the New York Times food and wine writer, this series will run each Sunday starting this week through Aug. 25 in the newly renovated theater. The star-studded lineup of guests includes Giada De Laurentiis, Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald of Levain Bakery, and Marcus Samuelsson.

Kicking off the series this Sunday will be Daniel Humm, a James Beard and Michelin Star-awarded chef and owner of Make It Nice and the highly acclaimed Eleven Madison Park. Now living in Montauk, his Manhattan menu has shifted to being plant-based, which will be the topic of conversation during the “Stirring the Pot” session.

Mr. Humm will discuss why this change happened and what it took to achieve, and he will offer advice for those who are interested in vegan cooking and dining. The conversation will begin at 11 a.m., but there will be a complimentary breakfast served by Citarella at 10. Each event in the Stirring the Pot series is $35, and $31.50 for Guild Hall members.
