The Springs Tavern has a $25 dinner special for dine-in or takeout on Tuesdays that includes a choice of tacos or enchiladas, red rice and beans, and a margarita. The tacos will be offered with a different filling each week, either crispy shrimp, guajillo chicken, grilled shrimp, pork rib carnitas and tempura avocado, crispy snapper, shredded chicken, or skirt steak carne asada, plus corn tortillas and toppings such as shaved cabbage, avocado, pickled jalapeno, mayonnaise, salsa verde, onion, cilantro, and lime. The enchiladas are made with guajillo chicken and come with red and green salsas, crema, and lime. 

L and W Market in Bridgehampton has cassoulet specials on Wednesdays, ramen on Thursdays, and halal dishes such as chicken kebabs and lamb schwarma on Saturdays. A cassoulet with duck confit, white beans, chicken sausage, and duck bacon is $30, one with Berkshire pork, white beans, smoked cheddar sausage, and bacon is $36. The $29 ramen dishes include choices between Malaysian curry with bok choy, caramelized tofu with shiitake mushrooms, and smoked daikon, or beef short rib bulgogi with charred scallions, and kimchi. For the cassoulet and ramen dishes, orders must be placed by 1 p.m. for same-day pickup between 5 and 6 next door at Almond. The $30 halal dishes include a choice of chicken kebabs or lamb schwarma or a combo of each, yellow rice and peas, grilled lemon, pickles, pita, tzatziki, and sriracha. Fresno in East Hampton has three special entrees for dine-in or takeout on Thursday through Tuesday. Pan-seared scallops with fava bean puree, beet vinaigrette, and micro bulls blood and shoestring beets is $42, a 16-ounce ribeye with bacon, broccoli rabe, honey sweet potatoes, and a bordelaise sauce is $60, and a grilled veal chop with grilled asparagus, poached heirloom tomatoes, and duck-fat-roasted marble potatoes is $62.

Beach Hut to Stay on Main

East Hampton Village announced this week that the current occupant of the village-owned concession at the Main Beach pavilion, Susan Seekamp’s Beach Hut on Main, won the bid to continue operating for five more years.
