2U, which bills itself as “the world’s second best U2 show,” will pay tribute to the Irish rock band at Sag Harbor’s Bay Street Theater on Saturday at 8 p.m. Bono himself once called them “the best U2 tribute band we are aware of to date, hands down.”

The group has been performing at theme parks, colleges, festivals, theaters, and corporate events both nationally and internationally since 2001. They’ve played monthlong extended runs with the tribute show “Legends in Concert” at the Imperial Palace on the Las Vegas Strip, as well as Disney’s Epcot “Sounds Like Summer” tribute concert series (for eight years in a row). Other clients and venues include Jameson, Guinness, Navy Entertainment, House of Blues, and Hard Rock Live.

With a repertoire that spans U2’s extensive discography, 2U has mastered and performed numerous hit singles, including “With or Without You,” “Beautiful Day,” “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” and “Where the Streets Have No Name.”

Tickets are $44 to $56.

Originally scheduled for Feb. 22 but canceled because of the blizzard, the Hamptons Pride Film Series will return to Bay Street on Sunday at 4 p.m. with “Carol” (2015), an adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s 1952 novel “The Price of Salt.” Directed by Todd Haynes, the film received six Academy Award nominations and nine from the British Academy.

Rooney Mara plays Therese, a young woman in her 20s who dreams of a more fulfilling life while working as a clerk in a Manhattan department store. When she meets Carol (Cate Blanchett), an elegant woman trapped in a loveless marriage, an immediate connection sparks between them. Once Carol’s marriage dissolves, a love affair ensues, but not without complications.

A.O. Scott of The New York Times wrote, “At once ardent and analytical, cerebral and swooning, ‘Carol’ is a study in human magnetism, in the physics and optics of eros.”

Tickets are $10. Attendees under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
