Celebrating Women Artists

Wed, 08/06/2025 - 07:31
Marilyn Church's painting "Beach at Louse Point" can be seen at the Women's Art Center of the Hamptons.

The Women’s Art Center of the Hamptons in Bridgehampton opens “Infinite Woman II” on  Thursday, with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition continues the gallery’s celebration of women whose work confronts opposition, marginalization, and challenges to their right to self-expression.

The show, which will continue through Sept. 7, features the artists Siba Agbeyegbe, Sylvia Baruch, Marilyn Church, Jeannie Friedman, and Setha Low. Their works span mediums and approaches, but together they form a layered conversation about identity, resilience, and the infinite ways women see and shape the world.
