Devlinhair Productions

Anthony Madonna, Guild Hall’s theater director and curator of performing arts, must be doing something right, since two of this week’s upcoming programs, “The Fitzgeralds: A Reading With Music” and “StarTalk Live! With Neil deGrasse Tyson,” were sold out as of press time.

Directed by Stephen Hamilton, “The Fitzgeralds,” set for Saturday at 8 p.m., features Melissa Errico and Alec Baldwin reading from the correspondence between F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald, letters that reveal a relationship shaped by ambition, artistry, and emotional complexity. The performances are accompanied by a score composed and played by Forrest Gray.

Mr. Tyson, the world-renowned astrophysicist, will be joined by a panel of expert guests and comedians as he explores the mysteries of the universe, the latest scientific breakthroughs, and the most urgent questions about our place in the cosmos. “StarTalk Live!” will happen on Sunday at 7 p.m. A waitlist for this program can be accessed at [email protected] .

But all is not lost. Max Hollein, the director and C.E.O. of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will drop in at Guild Hall on Sunday morning at 11 to talk about the future of museums, the power of cultural storytelling, and the Met’s evolving role in a global art world.

Tickets are $25, $22.50 for members.
