Rocking the Talkhouse

About Last Night will bring a blend of party rock, pop, dance, hip-hop, and R&B to the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett tomorrow night at 10. The venue promises high energy, charisma, and attitude that will get the audience pumped up and dancing. Admission is $10.

Montauk’s Annie Trezza will take the stage on Saturday at 8 p.m. Inspired at a young age by Bob Dylan and the Beatles, Ms. Trezza picked up a guitar and began to write her own songs when she was 14. Her lyrics are influenced by “heartaches, the ocean, surfing, travels, loves lost and found, and life itself,” says her website. Tickets are $20.

Rated Fresh will perform Saturday night at 10. The Talkhouse alleges that the band throws down harder than a typical party band, with a setlist that includes top 40 mashups, ‘90s throwbacks, and ‘60s and ‘70s classics. Admission is $10.

At the Suffolk Theater

Joanne Shaw Taylor was discovered at 16 by Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics, who invited her to tour with his supergroup D.U.P. Now in her 30s, she is one of the most sought-after blues-rock guitarists in the world and a prolific songwriter. She will be at the Suffolk Theater on Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $49 to $89.

“Fiesta!” the Emmy Award-winning show featuring Benise, the American guitarist and dancer who plays in the Spanish style, will take the audience at the Suffolk Theater on a musical journey through Spanish flamenco, Cuban salsa, Brazilian samba, Parisian waltz, and exotic drumming on Sunday evening at 7. Tickets are $49 to $59.

Orquesta Akokan, a multigenerational big band of musicians from Havana and New York City’s Latin music scene, will be at the Suffolk for “Mambo Night” next Thursday at 8 p.m. Their sound is a reinvigorated take on the golden era of Cuban mambo, rhumba, son, tumbao, and cha-cha-cha, combined with modern Latin jazz. Tickets are $59, and the dance floor will be open.

Joanne Shaw Taylor will bring her blues guitar to the Suffolk Theater.

Jazz at the Temple

The next show in the Jam Session concert series at the Masonic Temple in Sag Harbor, set for Tuesday at 7 p.m., is “Return to Forever—Remembering Chick Corea,” featuring Oscar Feldman on saxophone, Steve Sandberg on piano, Tony DePaolis on bass, and Claes Brondal on drums. The $20 admission fee supports local charities.

Say Cheese (or Caviar), Day or Night

Self Provisions, a storefront attached to Cavaniola’s Gourmet Cheese in Sag Harbor, is “always open,” as is proclaimed by an illuminated sign on the wall at the entrance. Two large, brightly lit vending machines dominate the space, with offerings ranging from sea salt crackers and slabs of French butter to jars of caviar and curated gift boxes — and, of course, cheese.
