Celebrating Prince
Sag Harbor's Bay Street Theater will host "Kissed by a Prince," a tribute to the late musical virtuoso, on Saturday at 8 p.m. The live performance will feature a lineup of local musicians, including the vocalist Dawnette Darden of the HooDoo Loungers, Mike Mazzaraco on guitar, Klyph Black on bass, Ellis Holmes III on drums, Sean Willis on keyboards, and Bopa King Carre, a percussionist.

"All of the performers have been inspired by, and have performed, Prince's music for decades," said Mr. Mazzaraco. "We are honored to have the opportunity to pay tribute to this musical great."

Tickets are $37 in advance, $47 the day of the show.

At the Talkhouse
It will be a night of music, dancing, food, and fun, all for a good cause, from 7 to 11 on Friday  at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett. The evening, featuring D.J. Dubbcity at the turntables, is a benefit for the Kendall Madison Foundation Scholarship Fund, established in 1995 in memory of a popular student-athlete who died at the age of 21. Tickets are $25, $40 for couples.

Also at the Talkhouse, Little Head Thinks, a venue regular, will take the stage on Saturday at 10 p.m. to perform its eclectic mix of covers from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, as well as original material. The band has performed with Chad Smith, G.E. Smith, Jimmy Buffett, and Suzanne Vega, among others. Tickets are $10.

The Cherry Bombs, who will take the stage on Saturday at 7:30, are profiled on C1.

Drumming, Dance, Jazz
M'bemba Bangoura, a master drummer from Guinea, West Africa, will lead workshops in African drumming and African dance at the Masonic Temple in Sag Harbor on Sunday afternoon. In West Africa, the djembe drum is used to bring people together to communicate, celebrate, and motivate.

The drum class will take place from 1 to 3; the dance class from 3 to 5. Each class is $20. Participants have been advised to take drums, though some may be available to rent.

Tuesday's Jazz Night from the Jam Session, "Birdies from Bayside," will feature Sam Newsome, saxophone; Meg Okura, violin; Tony DePaolis, bass, Claes Brondal, drums, and a pianist to be announced. Tickets are $20.

Supper Club Saturdays
Jane Hastay, a pianist, and Peter Martin Weiss, a bassist, are playing every Saturday evening through April from 6 to 9 at Main Prospect restaurant in Southampton.

A couple both onstage and off, they are known for their arrangements of classics by Duke Ellington, Stephen Sondheim, George Gershwin, Billy Joel, the Beatles, and more. The duo will be joined each week by guest vocalists.

Creedence Tribute
Creedence Revived will bring the music of John Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revival to the Suffolk Theater in Riverhead on Friday at 8 p.m. Creedence Revived has toured internationally, playing for audiences as large as 30,000.

"We pay tribute," said Rich Perez, the band's lead vocalist. "We play the music as if we wrote it. We perform it as if we were the original band. C.C.R. is legendary."

Tickets are $49 to $59.
