Skating to Broadway show tunes is one of the activities Bay Street Theater has planned for HarborFrost weekend.

Bay Street Theater has a full weekend schedule of events timed to Sag Harbor's HarborFrost weekend. It begins Saturday with an All Star Comedy show from Joseph Vecsey at 8 p.m. The comedians taking the stage will be Ben DeMarco, Mike Sicoli, and Nick Whitmer. Tickets are $35.

Sunday brings both skating and opera to Bay Street patrons. "La Traviata" by The Met: Live in HD will get an encore showing in the theater at 12:55 p.m. The cost is $35.

Outside and a few miles south in East Hampton, Bay Street's Broadway Skating Party will return to the Buckskill Winter Club for its third year from 6 to 8 p.m. The rink will be limited to only 80 guests, down from a full capacity of 200, who will skate to a specially selected soundtrack of Broadway hits. The snack bar will be open and serving warming treats like hot chocolate. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Skating begins at 6:30 and skates can be reserved by calling ahead. The $25 ticket price per person includes rentals. Skates can be sharpened by the Buckskill staff for an additional fee.

Tickets for all events are available through the box office and by phone at 631-725-9500, Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Sundays that are show days, or anytime on the website.

New Restaurants on the Horizon

Among the new restaurants coming to the South Fork are Lion's Nook Bar and Grill (from the founder of Springs Tavern), Babe's, "a finer diner," and Jean's, a branch of the trendy NoHo bistro.
