Leisurama was a line of inexpensive prefabricated houses available for purchase through Macy's department stores in the mid-1960s. A precursor, designed by Andrew Geller, was shown at the 1959 American National Exhibition in Moscow, which provoked the famous kitchen debate between Richard Nixon and Nikita Khrushchev. More than 200 Leisurama houses are part of the Culloden Shores neighborhood in Montauk.

The 2005 documentary film "Leisurama," written and directed by Jake Gorst, will be shown at the Montauk Library on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Mia Certic, director of the Montauk Historical Society, will lead a discussion after the screening.
