Schumer and MGMT Will Play Clubhouse

Mon, 07/18/2022 - 17:43
Amy Schumer will perform a stand-up comedy set at the Clubhouse on Saturday night.

Amy Schumer will take the mike at the Clubhouse in East Hampton this weekend to deliver a comedy set benefiting the Retreat. The comedian and actress has been using her platform for good recently, supporting activist causes and changing her persona and joke choices to be less of a "monster, just like the worst white woman," and bringing more of herself into her routine.

Her show will start at 7 Saturday night and be followed at 9 by a D.J. set afterparty courtesy of MGMT, the Grammy-nominated psychedelic pop band formed by two friends at Wesleyan University in 2002.

Tickets for Ms. Schumer's performance are $275 for lawn access. Attendees must bring their own seating, and placement is on a first-come-first-served basis. A $425 silver ticket provides a chair in a preferred seating area and private access to the bar. The afterparty D.J. set is $100. Tickets can be purchased through the Clubhouse's website.
