Talkhouse Lineup     
Big Karma plays at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett tonight at 8, followed by Conga Cartel at 10. Friday at 7 p.m., it's the Sturdy Souls, with Hot Lava taking the stage at 10:30. The Nancy Atlas Project plays on Saturday at 7 p.m., followed by the Bayside Tigers at 10. On Sunday, 8 p.m., it's Roses Grove Band, followed by Rum Punch Mafia at 10. LHT plays on Tuesday at 10 p.m.

Ticketing information is on the venue's website. Patrons must show proof of Covid-19 vaccination.

On the Clubhouse Lawn   
Gene Casey and the Lone Sharks play on the lawn at the Clubhouse in Wainscott tonight and every Thursday from 6 to 9. Friday, also 6 to 9, it's the Unsung Heroes. Winston Irie and Friends play on Sunday, and the Lynn Blue Band plays on Monday, also from 6 to 9.

Sunset Friday     
This week's Sunset Friday performer at the Wolffer Estate in Sagaponack is Charles Certain and Certain Moves. The music starts at 5 p.m. Capacity is limited and guests will be admitted on a first-come-first-served basis.

End Notes     
Hopefully Forgiven will play on Saturday at the Sagaponack Farm Distillery, 2 to 5 p.m. The band also plays every Sunday from 4 p.m. to sunset, weather permitting, at Salt on Shelter Island.     

The Sturdy Souls perform on Mondays at the Surf Lodge, also in Montauk, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Sweet Smell of Nostalgia at Sagaponack General

Stepping into the new Sagaponack General Store, which reopened yesterday after being closed since 2020, is a sweet experience, and not just because there’s a soft-serve ice cream station on the left and what promises to be the biggest penny candy selection on the South Fork on your right, but because it’s like seeing an old friend who, after some struggle, made it big. Really, really big.
