Stephen Talkhouse
Student Body, featuring the inimitable multi-instrumentalist Gian Carlo Feleppa, will perform at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett tomorrow at 8 p.m. The Nancy Atlas Project will perform on Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. The venue's website has ticketing information and lists weekly acts.

Baron's Cove
Michael LeClerc and Bosco Michne, who comprise two-thirds of the Unsung Heroes, will play tomorrow from 6 to 9 p.m. at Baron's Cove in Sag Harbor. On Saturday, also 6 to 9, it's Chris Tedesco.

Ram's Head
Mr. Tedesco and Jon Divello will perform tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at the Ram's Head Inn on Shelter Island. Fans of live music should expect Covid-19 protocols to remain in place this week and in weeks to come.

Jazz Jam
The Jam Session, in the days before Covid-19, brought together top jazz musicians from the South Fork and the tristate area for weekly musical explorations, most recently at Ed's Lobster Bar in Sag Harbor. One year later, it is once again producing new shows in collaboration with Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, albeit without an audience for the time being.

The Greg Lewis Organ Monk Quartet, featuring Mr. Lewis on Hammond B3 organ, Perry Smith on guitar, Ada Rovatti on saxophone, and Taru Alexander on drums, played on Sunday at Bay Street. The performance, like all Jam Sessions, was recorded for broadcast on WLIW, 88.3 on the FM dial, and streaming at wliw.org. The quartet will be featured on May 2 from 8 to 9 p.m.

An interview with the Latin jazz pianist Bill O'Connell, recorded on April 14, can be heard on Sunday night at 8. Archived performances can also be heard on the Jam Session Radio Hour at Apple Podcasts.

"Great music is always a shared experience," said the Jam Session's Claes Brondal, who is a drummer. "We are hoping for live gatherings and concerts at some point this year. How, where, and when is the million-dollar question. But it will absolutely happen, and we will never take togetherness for granted again!"

The Sweet Smell of Nostalgia at Sagaponack General

Stepping into the new Sagaponack General Store, which reopened yesterday after being closed since 2020, is a sweet experience, and not just because there’s a soft-serve ice cream station on the left and what promises to be the biggest penny candy selection on the South Fork on your right, but because it’s like seeing an old friend who, after some struggle, made it big. Really, really big.
