The White Album
The Moondogs will return to Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor for the first time since the cancellation of their March 2020 concert with a live performance of the Beatles' White Album on Saturday at 8 p.m.

For previous Bay Street performances, the band has performed "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Let It Be," and "Abbey Road." Among the many notable tracks from the White Album are "Back in the U.S.S.R.," "Dear Prudence," "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," and "Helter Skelter."

The Moondogs are Fred Gilde and Dan Koontz, keyboards; Joe Lauro, bass; Howard Silverman, drums, and Mick Hargreaves, Michael Schiano, and Jeff Levitt, guitars.

Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 the day of the show.

Irie Plays the Masonic
The music series at the Masonic Temple in Sag Harbor will present a performance by the reggae artist Winston Irie Friday at 8 p.m. Mr. Irie, who credits his mother and a great-aunt for his love of music, has performed with Toots, Jimmy Cliff, the Whalers, and Lenny Kravitz, among others.

Tickets are $20.

Next at the Talkhouse
The North Carolina band Mipso will take the stage at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett Thursday at 8. Expect "finely layered vocal harmonies, graceful fluency in the timeless musical traditions of their home state, and a near-telepathic musical connection that makes their live show especially kinetic," according to the website. Tickets start at $20.

Friday brings the Steven Tekulsky Band birthday bash at 8 p.m. for $10. The Roses Grove Band's Grateful Dead-inspired stylings will be the first show on Saturday at 8 for $20, followed by an Ugly Sweater Party with Hello Brooklyn! at 10 for $10.

The venue will get all merry and bright for its Christmas party next Thursday, with free admission with a new toy or article of clothing for children in need. Nancy Atlas performs on Friday, Dec. 17, at 8. Tickets are $40.

The Sweet Smell of Nostalgia at Sagaponack General

Stepping into the new Sagaponack General Store, which reopened yesterday after being closed since 2020, is a sweet experience, and not just because there’s a soft-serve ice cream station on the left and what promises to be the biggest penny candy selection on the South Fork on your right, but because it’s like seeing an old friend who, after some struggle, made it big. Really, really big.
