The Ladies Village Improvement Society Fair will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the L.V.I.S. shops and headquarters at 95 Main Street in East Hampton, near the entrance to the Reutershan parking lot. For children, there will be games of chance and skill, face painting, and much more. Adults will be interested in the vintage clothing booth, the plant sale, and cash prizes. There will be food trucks and live music.

Bidding in an online auction closes at 3 p.m. on Fair Day. Up for bids are four "friends and family" tickets to see Sir Paul McCartney performing at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., next Thursday, orchestra seat tickets to "Hamilton," ringside seats to the Big Apple Circus, four tickets to the Berliner Philharmoniker at Carnegie Hall, a three-night stay at Stratford Hall in Virginia, a lobster clambake for four, and trapeze and kite-boarding lessons. Travel deals include stays in Maine, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Aspen. In-person bids will be accepted for a first-edition, second-printing copy of Mark Twain's "Life on the Mississippi" and an 1833 American edition of "Reverend John Bible."
