The Hamptons International Film Festival announced Monday that Stuart Match Suna, one of its founders, will step down as chairman after 18 years. Additionally, the festival's board of directors elected Alec Baldwin and Randy Mastro to serve as the new co-chairmen. Mr. Suna will continue as chairman emeritus.

For the past decade, Mr. Baldwin and Mr. Mastro have served on the board of the festival, now in its 23rd year. They will begin their tenure as co-chairmen after this year’s festival in October.

The Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill offered a peak inside a variety of private gardens in East Hampton Town on Sunday through its Landscape Pleasures garden tour.

"Gratitude and Trust" will adapt ideas from their book into conversations and interviews with guests such as Chris Hardwick and Judd Apatow.

The garden tour benefited the grounds restoration of St. Peter's Chapel.

With so many pre-eminent American artists associated with the East End, it is not surprising that the Whitney Museum of American Art would feature many of them in the inaugural exhibition for its new home in New York City’s meatpacking district opening to the public on Friday.

“America Is Hard to See” includes work by more than 40 artists who have had long associations with the area, were frequent visitors, or completed significant works here, and almost half of them are women.

A gallery that has had a significant impact on Southampton Village's art scene is expanding to East Hampton.

Deeming it the "first unquestionably mainstream podcast," jurors said it was an "audio game-changer."

A small, but excellently edited collection of Michael Halsband portraits are on display at the National Arts Club on Gramercy Park through April 25.

Included in the mix that goes back to the mid 1980s are selections from Rolling Stones tours, images of artists and other musicians of the time, his nudes series, contemporary surfers and their culture across a few continents, and some recent formal portraits.
