An East Hampton man could be facing up to four years in prison if he is convicted of what police allege is grand larceny.

According to reports, Carlos Emiliano Naula Lalvay, 64, stole a wallet from the I.G.A. on North Main Street on Feb. 16. Reports indicate that the leather wallet contained $200 in cash, driver’s licenses, insurance cards, four credit cards, and a debit card.

After an investigation, Mr. Naula Lalvay was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a felony, on Feb. 21. He was held by police for several hours before being released on his own recognizance, with an order to appear in Town Justice Court on April 23.
