Thu, 03/02/2023 - 10:32

Carlson Jacobs of Springs, 55, was charged with misdemeanor criminal contempt on Feb. 22, after allegedly violating an order of protection. The order, issued by East Hampton Justice Court last June, barred him from “purchasing, consuming, or being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol in the presence of the protected party.”

Mr. Jacobs was charged at a house on Tyrone Drive in Springs, identified in the arrest report as his residence, after being interviewed there. Police reported that he had “a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath.”
