Three people were taken to Southampton Hospital on the Fourth of July after a two-car accident on the corner of Fort Pond Boulevard and Crandall Street in Springs.

Janae S. Jones of East Hampton, 21, told East Hampton Town police she drove into the intersection while trying to avoid a bicyclist on Crandall, and hit the other vehicle, a 2001 Jeep. It happened at about 6 p.m.

Carl S. Zadlo, 42, of Kissimmee, Fla., was driving the 2001 Jeep, registered to his passenger, Kelli M. Havens, 32, of Amagansett, when Ms. Jones collided with it. Police said Mr. Zadlo did not have a license. Ms. Havens said she did not recall seeing a bicyclist.

Both drivers and the passenger suffered whiplash and complained of neck pain. Ms. Jones was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way, Mr. Zadlo for unlicensed driving. Police said no bicyclist was at the scene.

The driver of a GMC pickup truck was taken to the hospital after a Land Rover collided with the truck at 9 a.m. last Thursday at the intersection of President Street and Harbor Boulevard in Springs. Alejandro Serna-Ruiz, 40, had bruises on his head, according to the accident report.

The Land Rover’s driver, Nicholas Leguillow of Hewlett, 21, told police he was turning left from President to Harbor and did not see the pickup. Both vehicles had trailers attached, and each had one passenger. No other injuries were reported.

A motorcyclist on Napeague Meadow Road in Amagansett wound up in the hospital on the night of July 4 after crossing the double-yellow line and ending up in marshland.

Putu E. Setyawati, 24, of Sag Harbor, injured her hand in the 10:30 p.m. crash. The motorcycle’s owner, Alan P. Silva-Lima, also of Sag Harbor, was a passenger on the cycle but escaped injury. Both Ms. Setyawati, who was charged with speeding and unlicensed driving, and Mr. Silva-Lima were wearing helmets.

David M. Chavez-Osorio, 19, of East Hampton was driving a 2005 Toyota pickup on Flamingo Avenue in Montauk Sunday when, police said, he ran a stop sign at the West Lake Drive intersection and hit a 2010 Subaru driven by Matthew J. Finn, 31, of Thornwood, N.J. Mr. Chavez-Osorio said he did not see the Subaru coming.

Mr. Finn was taken to the hospital, as was one of his two passengers, Megan Rohan, 30. Both complained of head injuries and minor bleeding. The other passenger, Jayleen Schiappacasse, 17, was not injured.

At about 8 a.m. on July 5, Charlotte C. Sweetman, 18, of Somersworth, N.H., driving a 1994 Jeep, was headed east on Napeague near Shipwreck Drive when, police said, she sideswiped a Toyota sport utility vehicle. She told officers she had been adjusting her radio when it happened, and accidentally drifted into the oncoming lane.

The driver of the 2002 Toyota S.U.V., Joshua H. Friedman, 56, of Great Neck, sustained a minor head laceration but declined medical treatment. He was driving without a license, police said, and was ticketed. Ms. Sweetman, who was uninjured, was cited for failure to keep right.
