Two East Hampton High School students were arrested last Thursday on felony charges involving the theft of dirt bikes. For one of them, it was the second such arrest in the span of a single week.

Two men arrested recently by East Hampton Town police on felony charges have been indicted by grand juries, and could face significant jail time if convicted.

A woman looking out the window of her place of business at 542 Montauk Highway on Election Day told police she saw a white late-model Toyota pull up, and a man get out and yank the building’s two-foot-square address sign out of the ground. Johanna Cardona said she ran outside and began screaming at the man, who got into the car and sped off. Police are investigating.
