To mark National Fire Prevention Week, the Bridgehampton Fire Department will host an open house on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to educate residents on the basics of fire safety.

The Bridgehampton Fire District will not have to raise taxes in 2017 because its board of fire commissioners has agreed to tap into a reserve fund and shift some expenses around.
