The environmental impacts of a proposal to build a car wash adjacent to the East Hampton Town Recycling Center on Springs-Fireplace Road dominated the discussion at a town planning board meeting last week.

Ladurée, a French bakery with a branch in New York, is selling macarons and ice cream at a pop-up shop inside London Jewelers in East Hampton. The shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
